Shanghai, June 18, 2026 — The 24th CPHI China 2026 took place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from June 16 to 18. As a benchmark Chinese biopharmaceutical company, Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals (Stock Code: 603087.SH) once again showcased its presence under the theme “Vessel of Life, Oasis of Health”, bringing its core commercial products and full R&D pipeline to the show.
The Company comprehensively presented its product portfolio, R&D breakthroughs in metabolic disease therapeutics, and its global collaborative development strategy. During the exhibition, the company was honored with two prestigious industry awards: the R&D Innovation Award and the Sustainability Influencer Award. The dual honors stand as a testament to the company's robust innovation capabilities and long-term commitment to corporate social responsibility, earning widespread recognition across the global pharmaceutical industry.
Leading with Innovation: Demonstrating Comprehensive, Cutting-edge R&D Strengths
Centered on the core tenet "Innovation Empowers Therapy, Technology Benefits the World", Gan & Lee spotlighted two key segments at this year's exhibition: its full insulin portfolio and pioneering R&D pipeline candidates.
On the commercial product front, the company showcased a full spectrum of insulins, including long-acting, rapid‑acting, premixed and human insulin formulations. Three proprietary insulin products have obtained EU marketing authorisations: insulin glargine injection (Ondibta®), insulin lispro injection (Bysumlog®), and insulin aspart injection (Dazparda®). Delivering reliable therapeutic performance while adhering to stringent global quality and compliance benchmarks, these three assets have earned widespread acclaim worldwide, standing as a testament to the company's global competitive edge in insulin therapies.
As for its R&D pipeline, the company highlighted the latest development milestones of three core candidates: insulin ludefen (GZR4), an ultra-long-acting once-weekly basal insulin; bofanglutide (GZR18), a bi-weekly GLP‑1 receptor agonist (GLP-1 RA); and GZR102, a once-weekly fixed-ratio combination of basal insulin and GLP-1 RA.
Both insulin ludefen and bofanglutide have advanced into global phase 3 clinical trials. With less frequent administration and superior or comparable efficacy, both candidates are expected to improve patient treatment adherence and drive a significant advancement in long-term diabetes management.
Notably, the Company presented new clinical data at the recently concluded American Diabetes Association 86th Scientific Sessions (ADA 2026): The findings further support the use of bofanglutide and insulin ludefen injection in patients with renal impairment. Meanwhile, the GZR102 injection demonstrated promising glucose-lowering and weight-loss potential in diabetic animal models. The basal insulin and GLP-1 RA components in the formulation acted independently, with no mutual interference in their pharmacokinetic characteristics, supporting the product's further clinical development.
Collectively, these clinical results further validate the favorable safety and tolerability profiles of insulin ludefen and bofanglutide, furnishing robust scientific evidence to support their broad clinical adoption and flexible individualized dosing regimens going forward.
Connecting Global Partners, Honored with Two Prestigious Industry Awards
At the concurrent award ceremony held during the exhibition, the company was bestowed two top accolades — the CPHI R&D Innovation Award and the Sustainability Influencer Award, in recognition of its standout innovation output, robust R&D capabilities, outstanding sustainability track record, and landmark breakthroughs in global expansion.
The R&D Innovation Award acknowledges the clinical value of the company's pioneering pipeline assets, including insulin ludefen, bofanglutide, and GZR102, as well as its self-driven independent innovation framework. Meanwhile, the Sustainability Influencer Award commends the company's long-term commitment to embedding its sustainability mission of "Patients First, Medicine for Good" across green operations, supply chain security, corporate governance, and expanded medicine accessibility worldwide.
Leveraging the global platform of CPHI China 2026 in Shanghai, the company set up a dedicated international business liaison zone at its booth to deliver streamlined communication support for prospective partners across core markets: Eurasia, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and Africa. Backed by fully proprietary core technologies, internationally aligned product quality standards, and a market footprint spanning 21 countries, the booth drew representatives from over one hundred high-quality enterprises based in Brazil, the EU, Southeast Asia and other regions. Participants held focused, result-oriented in-depth discussions centering on overseas product registration, local manufacturing, technology transfer, joint development, and pipeline collaboration.
The company's presence at CPHI China 2026 showcased its upgraded exhibition format, cutting-edge innovation pipeline, and open stance on global collaboration, fully laying out its latest progress in technological innovation and global deployment. Moving forward, the company will continue to deepen its focus on therapeutics for diabetes and metabolic disorders, advancing integrated growth of innovative R&D and cross-border partnerships.

This year's edition gathered over 3,600 exhibitors from more than 150 countries and regions, covering the full industrial chain spanning pharmaceutical APIs, biopharmaceuticals, and formulation technologies. The three-day event drew upwards of 110,000 global pharmaceutical professionals, with dedicated sessions spotlighting biotechnology, bioengineering, and eco-friendly, energy-saving pharmaceutical equipment. It serves as a unified global exchange hub linking industry, academia, research institutions, and investment communities, steering the worldwide pharmaceutical sector toward high-quality, intelligent development.
