This is Gan & Lee's first local insulin glargine filling project in Africa, marking a further breakthrough for the company in its expansion into the African market.
The successful registration approval of the insulin glargine injection (pre-filled pen),further enhances the company's commercialized insulin product portfolio in Algeria. Currently, with the successive approval of three insulin products, Gan & Lee has formed a full-category insulin portfolio of long-acting (insulin glargine) + rapid-acting (insulin aspart) + premixed (insulin aspart 30) in the region. Behind the continuous improvement of the product layout is the strong support of Gan & Lee's dual strategy: "Localized Production + International Quality Standards." Through deep cooperation with local Algerian enterprises, the company has optimized production costs by leveraging the local supply chain and strictly adhering to international pharmaceutical standards. This has successfully built a "high-quality and cost-competitive" insulin supply system, fundamentally addressing local patients' treatment access challenges.
